About Our Role

Medical & Interventional Services Are you an organised, motivated, and proactive professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced healthcare environment? The General Medicine Department at John Hunter Hospital is seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer to join our multidisciplinary team of administration staff, doctors, and nurses.


Responsibilities

* Clinical typing
* Managing phone inquiries
* Handling digital medical records
* Coordinating clinic bookings
* Performing a range of administrative duties
* Managing room bookings
* Assisting with Grand Rounds, including flyer creation and liaison with presenters
* Distributing the General Medicine Roster and On-Call Roster
* Coordinating distribution of Advanced Trainee Education Sessions
