**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Reporting to the LSA Team Lead you will be responsible for building and maintain outstanding stakeholder relationships, both internally and with our external Contractors is a key component to the success of this role.
- The primary focus of this role will include (not limited to):
- Train and mentor your team to ensure efficient flow of goods, services and information within agreed timeframes
- Provide a high level of advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company with respect to Support and Test Equipment (S&TE) activities.
- Ensure the development and delivery of S&TE plans and reporting requirements.
- Establish and manage Logistics Information (LI) and Maintenance Management Systems (MMS)
- Conduct technical spares assessment including assessing, identification, support system optimisation and special spares assessing tasks.
- Conduct stock requirement management activities, including stock holdings assessments, sparing usage management, and burn down rate calculations.
**About you**:
- To be considered for this opportunity it is expected that you have knowledge and experience in logistics supportability as it relates to Defence. A background in an aeronautical trade is preferred (but not essential). Previous experience in the use of the Australian Defence Force inventory system, MILIS, would also be an advantage. Experience in a similar role is expected, as is the ability and personal attributes conducive to working effectively in a team environment with persons of various backgrounds and seniority to achieve desired results whilst maintaining a high level of customer confidence is essential.
- You will also bring with you:
- Significant knowledge, ability and experience in maintenance and repair methodologies
- Significant experience and ability to lead, mentor and develop a team of professionals
- Significant experience in the planning of material management and equipment associated within a large and technically complex facility
- Significant experience and knowledge of material planning and tracking of scheduled work programs within a quality system
- Demonstrated experience and ability to implement and maintain management plans to meet maintenance, operational and quality objectives
- Significant experience liaising with service contractors and service providers
**Special Requirements**:
- Applicants are required to be able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Force security clearance.
