About The Role
As a Senior Engineer – Supportability / Reliability at Babcock, you will play a key role in the planning and application of Integrated Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability Engineering to support the development and optimisation of Mission System and Support System solutions.
* Contribute to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities
* Conduct multi-domain technical investigations
* Develop reliability models
* Ensure high-quality technical outputs
This role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise to complex engineering challenges, lead investigations, and mentor junior engineers. You will be responsible for delivering technical solutions, calculations, and documentation, working independently and collaboratively to drive improvements and maintain engineering excellence.
About You
You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in reliability and supportability engineering. You have a proven ability to apply engineering modelling and analysis to drive effective solutions and improvements.
You are comfortable working independently, producing high-quality outputs, and managing the delivery of technical activities through your expertise in processes and domain knowledge. To succeed, you will bring:
* Expertise in reliability modelling, analysis, and documentation
* Strong understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles
* Ability to conduct multi-domain technical investigations
* Experience leading technical investigations and applying sound engineering judgement
* Ability to plan, deliver, and monitor tasks for timely and high-quality outcomes
* Experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers
