At Knowmore Legal Service, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate lawyer to join our team. As a dedicated legal professional, you will be working with victim-survivors of childhood abuse and the Stolen Generations to provide them with access to legal redress and justice.
About the Role:
* As a key member of our legal team, you will work under the supervision of experienced Managing Lawyers and Senior Lawyers to provide high-quality legal information, advice, representation, and referral services to clients who are survivors of child sexual abuse.
**Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive support through telephone and face-to-face services.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions in line with service standards.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Practising certificate to practice as a lawyer in Perth WA.
- Experience in or good understanding of administrative law.
- Trauma-informed approach when providing advice for vulnerable individuals.
- Demonstrated cultural competency when delivering plain language legal advice.
