12-month contract for a Program Scheduler to join a Federal Government agency

This Federal Government agency operates within the healthcare industry. You will be working with the organisation to implement schemes to support better lives for Australians.
**Your new role**
This role will see you working as a Program Scheduler where you will undertake complex work that delivers outcome. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently to solve complex problems through your decision-making and positive judgement. You will be engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, therefore, you will need to demonstrate the ability to build solid working relationships at all levels.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience working as a Program/Project Scheduler in an IT capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills to influence, liaise and negotiate with all levels of key stakeholders
- The ability to manage the interface between different work packages to manage program dependencies
- Experience maintaining a master schedule and looking at work undertaken against a baseline
- The ability to identify activities effecting the critical path
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to ensure corrective measures are taken when required
- It is a requirement you are an Australian Citizen for this role
**What you'll get in return**
This position is being offered as an initial 12-month contract paying a daily rate.
