RSEA Safety is a fast growing and leading independent, omni channel player in the safety market with approximately 1000 employees. We help companies like Boral and KFC keep their employee's safe through the supply of workwear, work boots, personal protective equipment, workplace, and road safety products. RSEA Safety offers a comprehensive range of trusted brands like Carhartt, ELEVEN, Wolverine, Steel Blue, Blundstone, CAT, 3M, Blue Rapta and Uvex to name a few. We also have in house design and custom design development team to meet the requirements of any customer.
Let's talk about you
The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving revenue and profit targets through effective new customer acquisition. You will be proven experience in prospecting, pipeline management, pitching, negotiation, and tenders.
The successful applicant will be able to maintain extensive knowledge of the market and possess a thorough understanding of customer decision making drivers.
Your ability to problem solve and to manage customers' expectations in a rapidly growing company and opportunity laden sales environment will be your key to success.
Key Attributes
* Achieving and exceeding all targets and key measures
* Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure a consistent, evolving market presence
* Providing solutions and tailoring packages to offer a holistic approach to clients' needs
* Ideally, we are looking for someone who has solid experience in selling a service and managing a solution-based product
* You will also demonstrate tenacity, passion, and an articulate, polished approach
* A team player
The Ideal candidate will have
* Experience with the complete sales cycle, from canvassing new business, closing deals and relationship management
* Proven experience in pitching to new and existing customers through presentations and other innovative methods
* Identify upcoming tender opportunities and work with key decision-makers to develop tenders to meet customer requirements
* Strong time management and superior customer service skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build rapport
* "Can do" attitude
* Strong track record in exceeding set targets
* Well-connected with strong relationships with key industry decision-makers & influencers in more than one industry sector
* Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
