The Role
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Sales Engineer with a strong track record and a genuine passion for selling technology solutions. This position will be based out of our Australia location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Account Executives, OEM technical communities, partners and end user customers with technical responses, presentations and problem solving to win new business and cultivate existing relationships to achieve high renewal rates and customer and partner satisfaction.
What You'll Do
Support sales executives with solution selling to partners and OEMs.
* Develop a strong understanding of the IE product and OEM offerings.
* Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles with partners and OEMs.
* Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
* Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value product range.
* Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses to partners and OEMs.
* Effectively communicate client needs to the product teams for future product enhancements.
* Collect and document competitive intelligence.
What You Bring
* Minimum 8 years or more career experience in solution selling and technical presales roles.
* Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions.
* Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives at partners and customers.
* Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
* Solutions engineering & architecting experience in the Storage, Data Protection or Security industry is a bonus.
* B.S in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or comparable.
