Exciting multi-site role THE COMPANY Work with a global luxury brand specialising in timepieces at their repair centre in BotanyPOSITION OVERVIEW: Our client is seeking a skilled watchmaker to join the team, specialising in the repair and maintenance of luxury timepieces.
You will bring a passion for precision craftsmanship and expertise with mechanical, automatic, and quartz movements, as well as the below; ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Formal watchmaking training, apprenticeship, or relevant certification.
Hands-on experience with luxury watch brands.
In-depth knowledge of watch mechanics and movement types.
Exceptional fine motor skills and a steady hand.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Solid troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Expertly service and repair a variety of high-end watches, including complex movements.
Carefully dismantle, clean, and reassemble watch components with meticulous attention to detail.
Diagnose problems with timepieces and provide accurate repair assessments and quotes.
Perform thorough quality checks to ensure repairs align with our standards and exceed customer expectations.
Keep your workbench clean and your tools in top condition, maintaining a well-organised environment.
IDEAL SKILL BACKGROUND: Certification from a respected watchmaking program (e.g., WOSTEP, TAFE).
Familiarity with modern watch repair tools and techniques.
Experience servicing Swiss-made watches.
