Leading Hand – Gardening & Lawn Mowing (Full-Time) We are a growing lawn mowing and gardening business looking for an experienced Leading Hand to join our team full-time. This role is suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can lead by example, and enjoys developing younger team members while still being hands-on in the field. Pay & Conditions $35–$40 per hour, based on experience and capability Full-time, ongoing position Consistent work with a supportive team environment Key Responsibilities * Lawn mowing and general gardening maintenance * Operating and maintaining equipment including: * Ride-on mower * Self-propelled mower * Whipper snipper * Hedge trimmers * Chainsaw * Use of trailers and safe load management * Leading jobs on-site to a high standard * Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members * Ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on every job * Communicating clearly with management and clients Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in lawn mowing and gardening Proven leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of commercial equipment and safe work practices Ability to work independently and manage a small crew Reliable, punctual, and professional presentation
