A day in the life...
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and focusing on maintenance of existing assets, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time with high quality.
* Support and participate in the implementation maintenance methodologies (Preventative Maintenance pillar, foundations).
* Be responsible to ensure effective utilization of AMM system.
* Provide input for annual maintenance budget. Assist with the reporting and tracking of the maintenance budget.
* Support and participate in the competence building plan (CBP) for the maintenance team.
* Supervision of trades, performance management of trades, SH&E investigations in areas of responsibility, time and priority/leave cover management, change management, conflict resolution.
* Build up maintenance methodologies competencies within Engineering team.
* Assist with the technical training program for all factory maintenance staff.
* Support the implementation Autonomous Maintenance pillar methodologies.
* Support production to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and chronic technical issues.
* Support and participate in implementation of applicable standards and ensure adherence.
What will make you successful

* Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
* Experience in engineering management (maintenance, industrial, services, E&A), preferably in FMCG related manufacturing environment (min 3 years).
* Experience working in multifunctional team (i.e. capital projects, DMAIC) preferred.
* Experience in Personnel Supervision of technical teams, contractors or other 3rd parties.
* Self-management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them.
* Exposure to TPM, Preventive Maintenance planning and/or maintenance execution.
* Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
