About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated contemporary expert level of knowledge, clinical nursing skills, expertise and experience in contemporary primary health care and correctional health clinical practice related to assessment, treatment and care.Demonstrated ability to provide specialist clinical advice to communicate, consult, liaise and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders engaged in service delivery to patients. This includes demonstrated clinical skills and ability in the development and maintenance of collaborative partnerships at the individual, agency and inter-sectoral levels.Proven leadership skills, including the ability to initiate, develop, implement and evaluate a range of health support information programs and other resources for staff involved in the care of patients within a primary health model of care.Capability to provide clinical supervision and mentoring to ensure maintenance of professional clinical standards and quality of primary health care for consumers.
Mandatory Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
