Department Manager

About the Role
As a Department Manager, you'll take responsibility for one of the restaurant's key departments — People, Customer, or Operations. You'll lead a team of employees to achieve targets and uphold the quality and service McDonald's is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of up to 30 employees.
Drive results in customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability.
Manage daily operations and ensure compliance with food safety and workplace standards.
Support the Restaurant Manager in scheduling, training, and performance management.
Responsible for delivering outstanding QSC, sales, people practices and profit on each shift.
Supervise employees to ensure that restaurant operations and procedures are adhered to.
Engage with crew and fellow managers to deliver great business outcomes by bringing the Macca's Experience to life on each and every shift.
Ensure every customer has a memorable McDonald's experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum one-year previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, retail, or a fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A hands-on approach with a focus on people and performance.
Strong attention to detail and operational excellence.
Full Australian working rights.
