Key Responsibilities
* We are looking for someone who can monitor and maintain best practice standards for supercritical boiler and turbine plant operations, manage contractors and consultants used in Unit Chemistry and Water Treatment Plant issues, operate and coordinate the water treatment system effectively to set standards, minimizing operational costs by monitoring, fault finding, reporting, and taking corrective action.
* The ideal candidate will work closely with the Operations Coordinator and Operations Engineer to ensure optimal plant performance under varying conditions, complete routine inspections and tests, designing systems to audit plant process performance and highlight variances from standards, provide support for hazardous chemical management, including risk assessments.
* Additionally, they will manage laboratory services and contracts, ensuring safe and effective systems of work and procedures, and maintaining chemical analysis database records for internal and external parties.
