Personal Care Worker
Do you live in Nerang, Highland Park, Carrara, Molendinar, Ashmore, Gilston or Gold coast surrounds?
We are seeking experienced team members to make a difference in supporting our local residents at Homestead Aged Care based in Nerang. Ability to work independently with a small team of carers and flexibility to cover additional day or night shifts is highly regarded.
About the Role
As a Personal Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents and work alongside our care team. Your responsibilities will include:
* Provide personal care and emotional support to residents
* Assist with daily living: mobility, meals, social outings and clinical care
* Review care plans, report and observe changes
* Maintain dignity and privacy for all residents
* Support Registered Nurses
About You
* Passionate about Aged Care and providing safe supportive care to the residents.
* Currently holds a Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 in Individual Support/ Aged Care.
* Experienced as a Personal Care Worker in Residential Aged Care.
* Flexible and able to do shifts including AM, PM, Night & Public holidays
* Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
