Disability Support Worker (New South Wales) Port Macquarie - Christmas Casual positions. Casual hours are available in Port Macquarie NSW for Disability Support Workers with potential for ongoing hours including Part-time Permanent positions and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support people in their day-to-day living and provide quality 24/7 care in supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes).
- Deliver domestic and personal care assistance and help customers access and participate in the community.
About You
- Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
- Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong communication skills to develop positive relationships
- Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
- Ability to use computers and learn various software/programs
- Smart Phone and current Australian Driver\'s Licence
Qualifications & Requirements
Significant availability during the Christmas period across days/nights, weekends and public holidays. Prior to commencement, ensure you can provide a valid copy of your driver\'s licence and complete requested work history and education information on the application page.
