Commvault is looking for a self-driven individual with a solution-oriented mind set to join its legal department in Australia as (Senior) Contract Manager to support business growth.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Serve as "day to day" Contracts partner and liaison to the business with focus on ANZ and wider APAC region sales teams and the professional service teams.
- Review and negotiate software license agreements, service provider agreements, support service agreements and especially SaaS contracts based on Commvault's standard templates and from time to time on customer contract templates.
- Review and give counsel on Data Privacy Agreement in your region as necessary.
- Provide training on Commvault's standard agreements to the sales community.
- Supporting the Deal Desk -/ Bid Desk Team e.g., with tender offers and special licensing provisions.
- Collaborate with and facilitate cross team decision making among the Legal team, Finance team, Deal Desk team and other internal teams
- Supporting the Professional Service Team with SoW and other service-related agreements.
**Position Requirements**:
- At least 4 to 8 years of post-educational professional experience in a similar Contract/Legal professional role within an international commercial in-house environment.
- English native speaker.
- Legal or commercial degree as educational background.
- excellent negotiation skills, with emphasis on software licensing and SaaS contracts.
- Team player with good client management skills and a track record of success operating in a fast-paced environment and client facing role.
- Be comfortable to communicate on all company levels (including C-level).
- Willingness to travel on company business from time to time.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under limited supervision.
- Pro-active communicator with problem solving mindset.
