We work to effectively communicate the science behind our products, and to guide healthcare providers to best help their clients.
The Role
In this role, you'll manage relationships with national and state-based pharmacy banner groups, overseeing educational and promotional planning, new line submissions, stock forecasting, and planogram compliance. You'll identify and cultivate brand advocates for Activated Probiotics and Activated Therapeutics within these groups, attend both day and evening meetings, and deliver timely field intelligence and qualitative customer reporting to head office. You'll ensure meticulous execution of action plans, safeguard company assets, uphold all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, and be available for travel to the Melbourne head office for meetings with senior management when required if located remotely.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
* Managing national and state-based banner groups (pharmacy)
* Responsible for educational and promotional planning with each group
* Responsible for new lines submissions
* Forecasting of stock levels at banner groups
* Proactively identify, nurture and manage Activated Probiotics and Activated Therapeutics brand advocates across the banner groups
* Attend educational and other evening meetings that are considered part of daily activities
* Provide timely and accurate field intelligence to management
* Ensure thorough execution of agreed action plans
* Ensure appropriate care for all company assets
* Ensure activities comply with legal, ethical and regulatory standards
* Be available for travels to head office in Melbourne for face‐to‐face meetings with senior management as and when required
* Qualitative reporting on key customers back to head office
Proven track record in sales or key account management within the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical sectors
Strong experience managing relationships with pharmacy banner groups or similar retail/healthcare channels, including new line submissions, planogram compliance, and promotional planning
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute account plans that deliver measurable commercial results
Excellent relationship‐building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify and cultivate brand advocates
Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging healthcare professionals in both formal and informal settings (including evening meetings)
Sound understanding of Australian pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance requirements
Self‐motivated and results‐driven, with strong organisational and time‐management skills suited to an autonomous, field‐based role
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools
Willingness and ability to travel, including to head office as required if not based in Melbourne
Highly Desirable
Experience with stock forecasting and managing inventory levels within banner group or wholesale environments
Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and interpreting sales analytics
Knowledge of the microbiome, probiotics, or evidence‐based natural medicine categories
Existing relationships with key pharmacy banner groups
Experience working with or selling to integrative or complementary healthcare practitioners
