About the role
In this role, you’ll be a trusted business partner, providing insights and strategic guidance to influence decision‑making and deliver results. You will:
* Partner with Merchandise teams to achieve sales, margin, and cost targets.
* Identify opportunities to exceed sales plans and unlock growth.
* Influence decisions through fact‑based, innovative analysis and insights.
* Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and initiatives across the Business Unit.
* Deliver ROI analysis for transformational projects and business cases.
* Track key initiatives and promotions to ensure expected outcomes.
* Lead financial governance and performance reporting, including annual planning and budgeting.
* Drive the monthly forecast process, clearly communicating risks and opportunities.
* Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance performance.
About you and your skills
We are looking for a dynamic Finance Business Partner with a continuous‑improvement mindset and track record of execution. This role is best suited to someone with experience working with complex organisations and confident simplifying financial information for both financial and non‑financial stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have:
* CPA/CA qualified with experience in retail or FMCG.
* Skilled at partnering with and influencing non‑financial stakeholders.
* Proven ability to analyse financial information and recommend actionable solutions.
* Confident in challenging and influencing stakeholders to achieve win‑win outcomes.
* Experienced in managing priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
* Collaborative team player who shares knowledge and drives collective success.
* Highly motivated and results‑focused, passionate about solving performance challenges.
* Excellent time‑management skills with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
