* Work across multiple leisure centres and flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
* Casual positions up to 38 hours per week
* Salary $40.17 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) + 12% superannuation. Penalty rates apply for weekend work.
About The Role
As a Casual Health and Fitness Instructor, you will play a key role in supervising and developing clients through fitness classes, ultimately enhancing the health and fitness of our Central Coast residents and guests. This role demands a proactive approach to customer service, ensuring that all participants receive high-quality support and guidance in a safe environment. Your responsibilities will include delivering effective fitness programming, conducting health assessments, and maintaining the cleanliness of fitness facilities.
Key Activities Of This Role Include
* Deliver fitness programs and supervise clients to support health and personal goals
* Conduct fitness assessments and provide advice in a safe, supportive environment
* Ensure participant safety through active supervision and safe exercise practices
* Promote centre programs and memberships to new and existing customers
* Perform ongoing maintenance and cleaning to maintain a high standard gym facility
To Be Successful In This Role
* Registered Fitness Professional with Gym Instructor certification
* Current First Aid certificate (HLTAID 011) or willingness to obtain prior to employment
* Current Resuscitation (CPR) certificate (HLTAID 009) or willingness to obtain prior to employment
* Working with Children Check Clearance Number or Application Number as per Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013 (if over 18 years of age) or willingness to obtain prior to employment
* Experience in developing and delivering personal health and fitness programs
* Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances
