About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure building systems and equipment run smoothly e.g. air conditioning, pumps
* Undertake repair/maintenance work as required to school buildings e.g. replacing locks, windows & light bulbs, patching holes, woodwork repairs
* Perform routine maintenance of equipment
* Estimate costs and document repairs undertaken
* Handle, store, and distribute goods/materials
* Move equipment/furniture as required
* Upkeep school grounds e.g. mowing, pruning, weeding, planting, disposing of litter
* Assist with school improvements e.g. fencing, paving, gardening projects
* Complete daily grounds maintenance reports
* Train new employees in groundskeeping duties
* Operate school vehicles as required.

Requirements
* Experience in general maintenance of grounds/buildings
* Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general trade maintenance
* Understanding of machinery/equipment operation relating to building maintenance
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Trade background is desirable
* A current driver's licence and use of own vehicle
* A valid NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment
* You may be required to provide an International Police Check clearance.
This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
