About The Opportunity
You will join a collaborative in‐house legal team providing strategic and practical legal advice across a wide range of matters to senior leaders and staff of the University.

You are a seasoned legal professional with strong judgement and a collaborative mindset, comfortable operating in a complex, values‐driven public institution. You bring a pragmatic, solutions‐focused approach and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
As The Ideal Candidate, You Will
* Be admitted as a legal practitioner in Western Australia (or eligible for admission).
* Have substantial post‐admission experience (typically 8+ years), ideally including in‐house or public sector experience.
* Demonstrate broad generalist expertise across areas such as commercial, employment, governance, property, privacy, IP, disputes and regulatory compliance.
* Provide clear, timely and well‐reasoned legal advice to executives and senior leaders.
* Exercise sound professional judgement, balancing legal risk with organisational objectives.
* Communicate complex legal issues clearly and practically to non‐legal audiences.
* Work collaboratively within a close‐knit legal team and contribute positively to team culture.
* Operate with integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and high‐impact matters.
