Wattle Early Childhood Centre is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher or Lead Educator to join our team and take on a leadership role in guiding our educators, room environments, and curriculum planning.
About the Role
We are looking for an inspiring leader who can:
* Lead and mentor a team of educators, building strong and supportive relationships.
* Design, implement, and evaluate high-quality programs and curricula that reflect the needs, interests, and development of children under three.
* Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and the wider community to foster a culture of excellence.
* Create inclusive, safe, and nurturing learning environments that promote each child's sense of belonging, being, and becoming.
About You
We are seeking someone with:
* A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with extensive experience in leadership roles.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role within the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector.
* Please note: Graduate Diplomas will not be considered for an interview unless accompanied by significant experience in early childhood education and care (3 years +), or a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
* Strong leadership experience, proven ability to lead teams and curriculum development.
* A deep understanding of child development, particularly from birth to three years.
* A commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional growth.
* Commitment to obtaining a Current Working With Vulnerable People registration, First Aid, and Child Protection training.
* This is a full-time role and applicants must be available to work between 7.30 am and 6.15 pm.
