The role of Electrical Supervisor is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of electrical works.
About the Role
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical activities on a project site. This includes planning and coordinating work to minimize inefficiencies and ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
* You will direct and coordinate the workforce to meet electrical requirements, including understanding risk management, quality assurance, and control.
* Liaise with clients and contractors to monitor relevant site instructions and capture costs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all personnel maintain safe systems of work.
2. Plan activities in accordance with standards and to minimize inefficiencies.
3. Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical requirements of the contract.
4. Understand and implement risk management, quality assurance, and control.
5. Participate in safety investigations, reporting, and discussions.
6. Participate in Quality Assurance audits.
7. Liaise with client and contractor representatives.
8. Monitor relevant site instruction to ensure costs are captured and agreed to.
About You
To succeed in this position, you will have at least 3 years' experience as an Electrical Supervisor in the heavy construction industry and hold your WA electrical license.
You should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
You must also be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment to safety and possess strong organizational, numeracy, and analytical skills.
