for anyone chasing those premium-hours vibes. If you can weld, lead, troubleshoot, and hype up your crew all in one shift, you're exactly who we want on board.
What you'll be taking charge of:
Guiding your allocated team on the workshop floor and keeping daily operations flowing
Collaborating with a team of Leading Hands to divide and conquer workloads
Troubleshooting fabrication challenges and being the first point of escalation
Keeping everyone aligned with instructions from the fabrication and production leadership
Allocating labour, organising tasks, and making sure jobs progress efficiently
Giving practical, real-time feedback on quality and technique
Preparing assemblies, work packs, plates, shafts, tags, and drawings
Signing off completed fabrication and welding using drawings and Powerfab
Setting the tone for a safe, productive, and positive workshop environment
What you bring:
Fabrication skills equal to or above a Tier 3 Boilermaker
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Confidence to self-manage and direct others without needing constant supervision
A team-oriented, motivated attitude
Clear communication and the ability to guide others effectively
