An established, growing financial services firm specialising in global trading (Margin FX, and CFD products) is seeking a Payments Operations Analyst to join its collaborative Broker team. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, experience around payments, and some general insight towards compliance in financial markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Payment Operations & Reconciliation: Manage daily transaction monitoring across all channels, handling manual processing, reconciliations, and chargeback disputes. Investigate and resolve all payment issues from discovery to resolution.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Enforce internal and external payment compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies. This includes processing KYB applications and conducting AML/EDD checks when risk flags are identified.
* Stakeholder Communication & Support: Serve as the primary contact for payment inquiries, collaborating with banks, payment providers, and internal teams while ensuring timely and accurate responses to clients.
* Process Improvement & Knowledge Management: Proactively identify areas for improvement, report on payment friction, and contribute to system enhancements. Maintain and update the internal knowledge base and client help centre, staying current with payment trends.
* Ad-hoc Initiatives: Support the department head and company director with other tasks and projects as assigned.
What You''ll Bring
* Previous experience in payments, treasury, or financial operations in CFD/FX/Crypto/PSP Industry highly valued.
* Analytical with reconciliation or banking skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Understanding of AML/CTF, KYB, and financial regulatory frameworks (desirable only)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Some proficiency in Excel and comfort with payment systems or back-office platforms.
