Site Engineer / Project Engineer
Location: Canberra | Project Duration: 2 Years | Division: Civil
Freyssinet Australia is seeking skilled Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join our Civils Team on a major bridge project in Canberra. This two-year project offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging civil engineering works, while developing your career within a global engineering leader.
About the Role
As a Site Engineer or Project Engineer, you will:
* Support the planning and delivery of bridge strengthening and bearing replacement works
* Assist in the coordination of FRP works and post-tensioning operations
* Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and day-to-day site activities
* Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained
* Monitor budgets, schedules, and progress, reporting directly to the Project Manager
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to achieve successful outcomes
About You
We are looking for engineers who have:
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline)
* Previous experience in bridges, structures, or civil infrastructure projects
* Knowledge of FRP works, bearing replacements, jacking or post-tensioning (highly regarded)
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A commitment to safety and quality delivery
