Role Overview
As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth. Working across various SMB and mid-market segments, primarily on inbound leads, you will engage potential customers, understand their business needs, and demonstrate how a comprehensive suite of software solutions can support their goals. You will build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and guide prospects through a successful end-to-end sales journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage inbound leads efficiently, ensuring timely follow-ups and nurturing prospects through the sales funnel.
* Engage actively with prospects and trial users, building strong relationships with senior executives, particularly within larger accounts.
* Deliver high-impact presentations and tailored product demonstrations that clearly communicate the value proposition.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product, and Support to ensure smooth handoffs and an excellent customer experience.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers within prospective customer organizations.
* Effectively manage and maintain the sales pipeline using CRM tools, tracking opportunities from initial contact through to close.
* Act as a customer advocate by working with internal stakeholders to address and meet specific business requirements.
* Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to position solutions effectively.
* Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
* Travel domestically as required for client meetings and events.
Skills & Requirements
* 1–5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or a related role within the software or SaaS industry.
* Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
* Prior experience selling SaaS solutions such as CRM, ERP, Accounting, or HRMS platforms is preferred.
* Ability to work independently in a distributed and/or remote environment.
* Hands-on experience using CRM tools for sales pipeline management and reporting.
* Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
