Townsville Hospital and Health Service are seeking a Clinical Director (BreastScreen) to join the team within the Women's and Children's Service Group at the Townsville University Hospital on a Permanent Part-time basis (4 hours per fortnight).

The Clinical Director provides professional and clinical leadership and, in partnership with the Service Manager; coordination, strategic planning, development and management of the Townsville BreastScreen Service.

* Salary range: $87.25 to $127.77 p.h. (L13-L27)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

The Clinical Director is the accountable officer for the delivery of high-quality health care to women attending the Service, within the framework of the BreastScreen Australia National Accreditation Standards, and Breastscreen Queensland Procedures and Protocols.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

* Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
* Medical Specialists require:
o Mandatory possession of a medicine degree from a registered tertiary institution and;
o Registration with the Medical Board of Australia with Specialist registration and;
o Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship of the Royal Australian College / New Zealand College.
* Licence to Operate Vehicle: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
* Probation period may apply.
* Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
