About the Role

The FNQ Regional Health Partnership (RHP) is seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Officer to provide governance, secretariat, and operational support to one of Far North Queensland's key regional health leadership forums.

The FNQ RHP brings together senior leaders from across the health sector, including Hospital and Health Services, Primary Health Networks, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Organisations, the Royal Flying Doctor Service, and other key partners. Together, the Partnership works to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through collaboration, system alignment, and strategic action.

As Executive Officer, you will be the central coordination point for the Partnership, supporting the Chair, partner CEOs, Working Groups and subcommittees to ensure effective governance, accountability, and progress against regional priorities.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-level governance and secretariat support to the FNQ RHP and its Working Groups.
* Prepare agendas, minutes, briefing papers, action registers and reports.
* Coordinate meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
* Monitor and report on progress against Partnership priorities and actions.
* Develop and maintain governance frameworks, workplans and documentation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations and stakeholders.
* Support strategic planning, policy development and regional health initiatives.
* Maintain document management, records and reporting systems.

About You

* Experience in governance, executive support, project coordination or health sector administration.
* Excellent written communication skills, including preparation of executive-level reports and meeting documentation.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
* Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Knowledge of the Queensland health system and primary health care environment.
* An understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health priorities and culturally safe practice.
