Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Brisbane Audit Practice. As a professional in this role, you will be responsible for conducting independent statutory audits of public listed and unlisted companies, proprietary companies, incorporated associations and other not-for-profit entities and government bodies' financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct audits of client financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements
* Create comprehensive audit work papers, outlining key findings and recommendations
* Identify and report on client financial risks, providing valuable insights to stakeholders
* Analyze financial statements, identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective solutions
* Investigate complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions to drive client outcomes
Requirements
* Proven experience in similar Audit & Assurance environment, with sound knowledge of IFRS principles
* Hold CA/CPA qualification or equivalent overseas certification
* Exceptional communication skills, enabling strong relationships with clients and colleagues
* Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, driving strategic decisions and innovative solutions
* Able to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering results
* Forward-thinking approach, driving efficiency and decision-making through process improvements
