Overview
This is a permanent part-time (0.5FTE) position commencing ASAP, with duties located at Broome Residential College, situated at the end of Kerr Street, in a safe and secure setting behind Broome Senior High School and close to St Mary's Catholic College. The Role
The School Officer provides assistance to the Manager Corporate Services with administering the financial resources of the school, including undertaking account and GST coding, reconciliations, invoice processing and BAS/FREDA returns. They assist with month-end procedures, including transporting receipts to the bank and ensuring data integrity. The role involves assisting with booking ABSTUDY travel arrangements for students and following up on related payments. The position liaises with contractors and coordinates the logging and tracking of maintenance requests and jobs. The successful applicant will organise and maintain student enrolment documentation, ensuring records are accurate and up to date. The role also works closely with the Manager of Corporate Services to support the management of organisational assets and resources, while providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the organisation and maintaining clear communication with staff, contractors and service providers.
