Job Description
* Develop and implement end‐to‐end volunteer recruitment and strategies.
* Maintain compliance with National Standards for Volunteer Involvement, WHS obligations, Fair Work guidance and all screening requirements (NPC, WWCC).
* Support and manage volunteer engagement initiatives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders.
* Monitor and evaluate the success of volunteer programs.
* Prepare reports and provide updates to the management team.
* Address any concerns or issues raised by volunteers effectively.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Volunteer Specialist should have:
* Experience in volunteer management, HR, community engagement or a related field.
* A relevant qualification in human resources, community services, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of volunteer best practice, rights and responsibilities.
* Knowledge of WHS, Fair Work and screening compliance relating to volunteers.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and training delivery skills.
* Ability to self‐manage, prioritise and operate autonomously.
* High level of cultural awareness and commitment to inclusive practice.
* A valid driver's licence.
* A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.
* Strong administrative and Microsoft Office skills (Excel essential).
