We are seeking a Masonry Labourer for a full time salaried position in our award winning building company. We are a heritage conservation specialist and this role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work with our stone masons on some of Adelaide's most iconic heritage buildings. No prior experience is necessary and training on the job will be provided (if necessary) to the successful candidate.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
The role will encompass a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
* Assisting Stonemasonry trades staff
* Repointing
* General Labouring
Ideally the successful candidate will:
* Have a minimum of 2 years of construction industry experience although this is not essential.
* Hold a current drivers license.
* Have or be able to obtain a DHS Working with Children's Clearance.
* Be able to follow instruction and work unsupervised or in a team environment.
* Possess a 'can do' attitude and strong work ethic.
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Be competent in using software and apps on phones to complete safety documentation and sign in works.
* Have an interest in pursuing a career in stone masonry.
It is essential that the successful candidate is the right cultural fit and is able to integrate smoothly into our positive, team-focused environment.
Whilst our office is based at Richmond, this position will be based on site at various locations within the metropolitan area.
