Electrical TA Role – Immediate Start
Your new company A leading national facilities services provider is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Electrical Trade Assistant to join their onsite team at a major shopping centre. This company delivers essential maintenance services across large commercial assets and is well known for its strong safety culture and team-oriented environment.
Your new role Working as part of the electrical maintenance team, you will assist with day-to-day lighting maintenance across the shopping centre. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone practical, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced public environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Replacing and maintaining light tubes, fittings, and basic lighting components
* Assisting licenced electricians with general electrical maintenance tasks
* Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant
* Responding promptly to lighting faults and requests raised by centre management
* Following all safety procedures, permits, and site access requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed
* Previous experience as a Trade Assistant (electrical experience preferred)
* Confidence working at heights (EWP licence highly regarded but not essential)
* A strong focus on safety, compliance, and hazard awareness
* Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with tenants and the public
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
