As the Plant Fitter, you will perform and supervise maintenance operations and ensure plant reliability at the ASU (Air Separation Units based in Kwinana WA) as aligned with Air Liquide Australia and local regulatory standards.
**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:
- Monitor the performance of systems and equipment
- Perform various mechanical fitting tasks & repairs for preventative (driven by Maximo PMs) & corrective maintenance (breakdowns) as required
- Manage processing of routine Mechanical WOs in Maximo CMMS
- Manage stores (lead) - ordering of parts & fittings, labeling etc
- Manage general site housekeeping, including controlled waste management
- Conduct quality assurance sampling & testing and maintain all required documentation
- Provide support with plant startups & shutdowns, particularly for technical troubleshooting of equipment during plant upsets
- Ensure all quality & safety procedures are followed
- Report accurate and up-to-date maintenance information
- Communicates potential problems that may affect capacity & quality
**Are you a MATCH?**:
- Previous experience with Air Separation Unit operations considered strongly advantageous
- Previous experience with overhauling of rotating equipment such as cryogenic pumps, reciprocating compressors, belt driven fan motors considered advantageous
- Mechanical trade/plant operator certification
- Current forklift license & experience
- Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations such as dangerous goods/substances handling and OHS
- Process Operations experience
- Proven fault finding skills
- Knowledge of Plant Instrumentation
- Experience with safe work permitting processes
- Ability to understand process operations and mechanical equipment
