We're a long-established Gold Coast business known for stability, innovation, and a supportive work culture.We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our finance team.You'll report to the Finance Manager and run a small team of four across AP, AR, Purchasing and Administration.You will play an important part in keeping the accounts function running smoothly by coordinating daily workflows and being the key point of support for the team.About the RoleThis is a hands-on role where accuracy, consistency and reliability are essential.
Your primary responsibilities will be weekly payroll, accounts processing, and providing support across general bookkeeping tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesPayrollProcess weekly payroll accurately and on timeReview timesheets and resolve discrepanciesMaintain payroll records and employee dataAssist with onboarding paperwork and employee record updatesHandle PAYG, STP, superannuation, payroll tax and year-end processesAccounts ReceivableInvoicing, receipting, customer follow-upsPetty cash & card reconciliationsAccounts PayableInvoice entrySupplier reconciliations & remittance preparationFinance AssistanceAssist the Finance Manager with month-end journals, adjustments & intercompany entriesPurchasing BackupProvide purchasing backup when requiredTeam CoordinationWork closely with the AP, AR, Purchasing and Admin team to ensure smooth daily workflowHelp prioritise tasks and maintain visibility of deadlinesAct as a key "go-to" support person for accounts-related questionsKeep communication flowing between team members and the Finance ManagerAdministrationGeneral office administration as neededStaff events coordinationAbout You3–5+ years' experience in similar roleCompetent across AP, AR and general ledger basicsStrong payroll knowledgeHighly organised with excellent attention to detailConfident communicating with internal teams and suppliersEnjoys being part of a hardworking, supportive office environmentExperience in manufacturing, trades or construction is helpful but not essentialWhy Join HPP?
