We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Merchandise Planner to join our Support Office team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing merchandise plans, stock investment, and in-season trade performance to deliver sales, margin, and inventory targets. You will partner closely with Buying and Retail teams to ensure stock is aligned to demand and trading strategy. Key Responsibilities Planning & Forecasting Develop and manage merchandise plans, budgets, and in-season replans Build forecasts aligned to business targets and trading performance Ensure plans are balanced across sales, margin, and stock OTB & Stock Management Manage OTB to support effective stock investment and flow Adjust buy plans in response to trade performance Ensure stock levels align to demand and strategy Trade Performance & Analysis Monitor sales, margin, and stock performance against plan Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions Prepare weekly and monthly trade reports Range & Assortment Planning Partner with Buying on option plans and assortment strategies Support seasonal planning and post-season reviews Ensure alignment with brand and financial targets Inventory Management Monitor stock health including sell-through, weeks of cover, and aged stock Manage core lines, size curves, and replenishment strategies Support markdown and promotional activity to optimise margin Collaboration & Team Support Work closely with Buying, Retail, and E-commerce teams Provide insights to support decision-making Support and guide junior team members where required What We’re Looking For 2 years’ experience in merchandise planning Strong forecasting, OTB, and inventory management capability Experience managing core line cards Intermediate Excel skills with strong analytical ability Experience with planning systems and reporting tools Solid understanding of retail metrics (sales, margin, stock, sell-through, weeks of cover) Ability to interpret data and provide clear commercial recommendations About You Commercially focused with an understanding of retail performance drivers Analytical and insight-driven Strong execution and time management skills A clear and confident communicator Collaborative and team-oriented Accountable with a strong sense of ownership Why Join Us?
