This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to help build a more disciplined, high‐performing finance environment and play a key role in shaping the future finance function.
Position
* Lead the financial control function, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across the organisation
* Drive a disciplined and well‐governed month‐end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, accounting oversight, and financial controls
* Oversee statutory reporting, audit management, accounting policies, and compliance with financial governance standards
* Lead and develop the AP, AR, and shared services finance teams, establishing clear accountability, structure, and performance standards
* Drive process improvement, standardisation, and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability across Finance
* Own finance data integrity and partner with key stakeholders to strengthen systems capability, reporting accuracy, and financial controls
* Partner closely with the CFO to support the implementation of a scalable and high‐performing finance operating model
* Build strong collaborative relationships with FP&A, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders to support consistent and commercially aligned financial outcomes
* Develop and mentor a high‐performing financial control team, building capability, succession depth, and a strong control culture
* Support the transformation of the finance function from a reactive environment to a proactive, disciplined, and commercially effective operation
Profile
* CA / CPA qualified with proven senior financial control or controllership experience within a complex environment
* Strong technical accounting, statutory reporting, audit, and financial governance capability
* Demonstrated experience leading finance transformation, process improvement, and shared services or operating model change initiatives
* Proven ability to build disciplined financial control environments, strengthen reporting integrity, and improve month‐end close processes
* Strong leadership capability with experience developing high‐performing finance teams and driving accountability across functions
* Commercially minded with the ability to balance strong governance, operational practicality, and business partnership
* Strong systems and data capability, including experience improving ERP environments, automation, and finance processes
* Resilient, hands‐on, and comfortable operating within a fast‐paced and evolving business environment
