The Opportunity

We are seeking an organised, professional Training & Administration Assistant to join our team at Perth Airport. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to become part of a well-respected aviation organisation with a supportive, collaborative working environment.

This position suits someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and thrives in a fast-paced, operational setting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Oversee the Flight Operations (Training) budget and manage related contracts.
* Manage Training and Checking manual amendments and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Coordinate and roster Cabin Crew and Pilot recurrent ground and simulator training.
* Schedule pilot onboarding training, including type ratings and multi-crew conversion training.
* Arrange travel and accommodation for travelling employees.
* Coordinate ATPL flight tests for Flight Operations and Ground Training.
* Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.
* Manage uniforms, including processing supplier orders and tracking delivery.
* Liaise with IT to support employee onboarding and offboarding.
* Manage Flight Operations leave requests in coordination with the Operations team.
* Assist with coordinating Company Events.
* Assist with the coordination and supervision of work experience students.
* Undertake other duties as required to support operational needs.

Essential Criteria

* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent), working towards or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an office administration role.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Experience using ERP or similar business systems.
* Fast and accurate data entry and typing skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Well-developed problem-solving and lateral thinking skills.

Desirable

* Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field.
* Experience developing or supporting training programs.
* Familiarity with training or learning management software.
* Aviation industry knowledge or experience (advantageous but not essential).
