The Chief Engineer is a vital position in our operations, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise a team of engineers and ensure the smooth running of all shipboard systems.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery and electrical equipment
* Supervising a team of engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all shipboard systems
* Assisting the Master in the operation of the ship's cargo equipment
Required qualifications include a Certificate of Safety Training (STCW III/2) and a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC). Australian citizenship or unlimited working rights are also required.
