About the Role
As the Research Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project, "Uncovering the laws of gravity using the largest map of the cosmos", led by Swinburne University of Technology.
This project aims to test the cosmological model using data from the DESI collaboration combined with weak gravitational lensing.
Specifically, the project aims to combine redshift-space distortion and gravitational lensing datasets in a unified cosmological parameter fitting framework, using the CosmoSIS software framework developed in our research group, and generate Fisher matrix forecasts for modified gravity scenarios based on combinations of future surveys.
Location and tenure: Full time, fixed-term (August 2026) position at our Hawthorn campus, Victoria.
Salary: Academic Level A salary plus 17% superannuation.
