Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth within the construction and structural steel sector. This role is pivotal in building strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering solutions that contribute directly to the company's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the construction and structural steel industry.
* Build, manage, and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
* Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, and sales proposals.
* Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets while driving revenue growth.
* Manage projects from initial client engagement through to delivery, with opportunities to expand skills in project management.
* Represent the business with professionalism, energy, and a client-focused approach.
About You
* Minimum 5–10 years' experience in structural steel fabrication, with proven exposure to sales and business development.
* Strong technical knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection processes within commercial and/or industrial projects.
* Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving business growth.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Highly organized, disciplined, and analytical with strong attention to detail.
* Results-driven, energetic, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
