About the role
Reporting to the Project Manager, we have multiple roles on the Gold Coast for all levels of CA's from Senior through to Junior, these will be site-based positions. The projects will be townhouse developments and large apartment towers. These projects are large scale from $50-120m in value. As the Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive contract management support to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and monitor contract activities, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects
- Prepare, review, and manage a variety of contracts, including subcontracts, purchase orders, and other contractual agreements
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve contract-related issues and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Maintain detailed contract records and documentation, including change orders, progress reports, and payment claims
- Assist in the preparation of contract variations, extensions, and renewals
- Provide support in the tendering and procurement process, including bid evaluation and contract negotiation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes and procedures
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year for Junior level roles including proven experience in a contract administration or similar role within the construction industry
- Minimum of 3 years for intermediate level and 5 years for senior level
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and other contractual agreements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in contract management software and MS Office suite
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve contract-related issues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, business, or a related discipline would be highly regarded
