Marine Construction Project Manager Role
Total Ocean Care is a leading marine construction & logistics company with over 30 years of experience in constructing award winning seawalls, creek lines, wetlands and more. We service clients on local, state and federal level.
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from initial site setup through to completion. This is a senior role requiring interaction with internal and external stakeholders, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
The Key Responsibilities Include:
* Accurate estimating & successful preparation and implementation of quotes;
* Ensuring all projects are completed according to contract specifications efficiently and under budget;
* Meet the target of Gross Profitability Margin (GPM) for assigned projects;
* Cost effective procurement and project management;
* Onsite supervision and project management of the team;
* Liaising with clients, peers and reporting to Total Ocean Care's management;
* Concept drawings for engineer's briefs;
* Working with engineers, technicians and trades people;
* Preparation of tender/quote submissions;
* Contract negotiation;
* Planning construction operations and scheduling;
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Civil/Landscaping Construction;
* Trade Qualification;
* Leadership skills;
* Implementation, review and ensuring crew compliance with Safety Management System and legislation;
* Experience working around heavy machinery;
* Experience with power and hand tools;
* Good knowledge of WH&S;
* WHS White card;
* First Aid Certificate;
* Computer literacy and MS Office Packages;
