GenesisCare now has an opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join our Darlinghurst clinic on a full-time basis. As a Radiation Therapist you are responsible for delivering efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality. This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities. Excellent remuneration available, annual salary of up to $113,382 superannuation (dependant on experience). More specifically, you will: Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties. Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice. Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures. Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner. We're looking for someone who has: Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques. Enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally across all areas of the department, including planning and the Elekta Unity MR Linac. Experience with Monaco Treatment Planning System. Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment. Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services. Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy). Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
