This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments. Fixed Term and Casual appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 30 June 2026.

Role description

What is our Public Relations Coordinator role?

Our Public Relations Coordinators play a key role in developing and coordinating communications for internal and external stakeholders (excluding media) at some of Perth\'s leading hospitals, including King Edward Memorial Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Osborne Park Hospital, Graylands Hospital and health services. As one of the largest health services in Western Australia with more than 14,000 people, the role works closely with others to identify opportunities to promote the many high-quality clinical services and projects being undertaken by our teams to support the community. An important member of the broader Corporate Communications team, which provides a comprehensive range of communications strategies and support to our hospitals and services.

Eligibility and selection process

Eligibility to apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
