Overview
We are seeking a registered Architect to join our Surry Hills studio on a number of exciting projects. You will be responsible for bringing architectural concepts to life whilst considering technical functionality.
Responsibilities
Develop concept designs by both hand and CAD application
Interpret and apply regulatory and statutory framework to work
With the team, determine client requirements for building projects
Under guidance, develop and present client proposals and project updates
Perform site visits to ensure work is done according to architectural plans
Work with the team to undertake feasibility studies, identifying site constraints and opportunities
Contribute to construction documentation packages
Skills & Experience
Registration via relevant state/territory Architect Registration Board
Bachelors' degree in Architecture
Minimum 3+ years' experience in an architectural studio environment
Proficiency in CAD software (DKO uses ArchiCAD)
Solid knowledge of relevant Australian building codes and standards
Advanced drafting and graphic presentation skills
Solid communication, whether written, visual, or verbal
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Solid organisation, time management and coordination
