About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an experienced MOHS Medical Scientist to join our hospital team on a casual basis.
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively with both the administrative and clinical teams, to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
* Process and embed tissue specimens using freezing techniques
* Prepare high quality sections of tissue for microscopic evaluation
* Collaborate with MOHS Surgeon to review results
* Perform histological staining procedures
* Manage lab stock ensuring availability of consumables
About You:
You have a genuine passion for providing world-class customer service and patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
* Solid experience in a similar role within cryotomy
* Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science
* Understanding of NSQHS standards and infection control
* Knowledge of legislative requirements and reporting responsibilities of hospitals
* High attention to detail and quality control

Bondi Junction Private Hospital is a boutique, purpose-built hospital with modern facilities, specialising in a range of specialties including Ophthalmology, ENT Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, General Surgery, MOH's Surgery and IVF.
Our hospital includes 4 operating theatres, a Day Surgery Unit and a 7 bed overnight ward.
