The Opportunity

This opportunity is your chance to contribute to vital water infrastructure projects across South Australia. Designed to meet growing demand, the position combines account management with business development in the construction and industrial sectors. Focused on hydraulics and pump systems, you’ll work with an established client base whilst actively pursuing new opportunities, collaborating with a skilled technical team in the office. The role offers plenty of variety, including regional travel, the occasional interstate trip, and the prospect of managing your own sales pipeline. If you're passionate about technical sales, enjoy solving complex challenges, and want to be part of something that truly matters, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

About You

You’re a confident sales professional who knows how to navigate technical conversations and build lasting relationships. To be successful in this role, you will bring with you the following skills and attributes:

* Experience in sales account management or business development within construction, infrastructure, civil or industrial sectors
* Familiarity with hydraulic pumps or experience in project-based or construction-related sales
* The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and basic electrical schematics
* A natural ability to connect with other industry players such as engineers, contractors, and key decision-makers
* A proactive mindset when it comes to spotting opportunities, preparing quotes, and closing deals
* Strong organisational skills and CRM know-how to keep your pipeline moving
* A customer-first attitude and a knack for delivering tailored, practical solutions
