We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team in Dampier's Ports Division.
This opportunity offers a unique chance to work on a diverse fleet of light vehicles, including Toyota Hilux, Land Cruiser, and Prado models, in a role that is both technically challenging and rewarding.
In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and servicing our light vehicle fleet, ensuring operational safety and efficiency.
Operating on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, you'll enjoy a balanced schedule while working alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence.
Required Skills Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with proven experience Skilled in vehicle air conditioning repairs and maintenance Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and undertake unplanned repairs Strong understanding of safety procedures, including Job Hazard Assessments, Take 5s, and Critical Risk Management Nice to Have Skills Forklift license and experience operating forklifts Familiarity with fleet management and diagnostic tools Prior experience working in a port or industrial environment Preferred Education and Experience Relevant qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology At least 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining light vehicle fleets Other Requirements Valid Forklift License preferred Commitment to safety and compliance in a high-standard work environment Willingness to adhere to roster schedule and work in a team-oriented setting This is your chance to become part of a well-respected team working on critical infrastructure projects.
